2024 Robert Gair Award Nomination Form

 ROBERT T GAIR AWARD


Created by the Paperboard Packaging Council, The Robert Gair Award is given for outstanding contributions to the paperboard packaging industry, to PPC, and to the individual’s own company. This singular award is only presented when there is a candidate of sufficient merit, one with a lifetime achievement in the paperboard industry.


The qualifications

To be eligible for the award, a candidate must have made consistent and outstanding contributions to:


The Paperboard Industry

Examples

  • -  Developed new products, processes, applications, markets

  • -  Acted as a leader with trade groups

  • -  Acted as an industry spokesperson

  • -  Was a pioneer of technology


The Paperboard Packaging Council

Examples

  • -  Served on committees or Board

  • -  Held leadership positions

  • -  Participated in and/or supported PPC programs


Nominee's Company and Community

Examples

  • -  Made contributions to bottom line and company growth

  • -  Acted as good corporate citizen and served the community

  • -  Promoted a healthy work environment


RULES

  1. Nominations must be made by National Voting Representatives of PPC member companies.

  2. Nominations must be signed by the PPC National Voting Representative.

  3. Nominations will be reviewed, and a recommendation made by the Executive Committee to the Board of Directors.

  4. The award recipient shall be determined by vote of the Board of Directors.


Nominees will be reviewed solely on the basis of the information you provide, so please give as much information as possible. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
